Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino are bringing their chemistry to the big screen as they will star in their first film “My Love Will Make You Disappear,” which will be directed by Chad Vidanes.

Chiu and Avelino’s new film project was announced on the August 12 episode of the noontime show “It’s Showtime,” where they were joined by Vidanes.

Without disclosing any details, Vidanes said the “classic rom-com” tells the story of how the “magic of love can make things go wild and fun.” The concept was created by Prime Cruz while the storyline will be made by Patrick Valencia and Isabella Policarpio.

“Siyempre, namiss natin ‘yung pelikulang rom-com mula sa Star Cinema. Pre-pandemic pa ata noong huling nagkaroon tayo ng true-blue rom-com from Star Cinema,” said Vidanes. “Itong concept na ‘to [ay ginawa ni] Prime Cruz and to be written by Patrick Valencia and Isabella Policarpio. Very interesting siya sa akin. Classic siya, classic rom-com, very bago.”

The concept is made by Prime Cruz and it will be written by Patrick Valencia and Isabella Policarpio. It’s very interesting for me. It’s a classic, classic rom-com, very fresh.)
