We love classy clapbacks, especially if it’s from—your girl—Mimiyuuuh. The Cosmopolitan Philippines covergirl gave the realest and (also) most luxurious clapback we’ve seen in a while.

She gotta do what she gotta do, besties. Mimiyuuuh was “called out” for being “pasosyal” or in other terms, a social climber. An online user thinks that the content creator has been trying to be and is feeling like a rich girl nowadays. The influencer didn’t specify which content of hers the Internet user commented on, but whatever it is, it’s something that she can’t just ignore—at least for today’s video.

In an Instagram post, Mimiyuuuh shared the comment which read, “susko napaligiran lang ng mga mayaman, f na f naman na mayaman siya. di mo need yan badeng. pasosyal di naman bagay.” Well, people are entitled to their opinions, but sometimes, some might not actually know what they’re talking about.

Mimiyuuuh made sure to make her clapback as fun as it gets. What seemed to be a normal sharing of her latest big purchase became a sarcastic yet luxurious response to the “pasosyal” comment.

“We’re gonna be having another unboxing video kasi kailangan nating mag-pasosyal, you know what I’m saying…guess what I got! The only BV I need in my life is Bottega Veneta,” the content creator humorously said.

She continued to tell the backstory of why she got a new bag, specifically a large pink Andiamo Bottega Veneta bag. We did some digging and it seemed that pink was a rare color for the said item and it costs $8,000 or around P458,552, according to its official website!

She added, “Ito po ‘yung pink bag na binili ko na hindi po ako malungkot because your girl is living the life, life is life-ing!” Mimiyuuuh’s followers and also fellow content creators fully support her in her Bottega Veneta purchase. Some influencers came to Mimiyuuuh’s IG reel and commented on how much she deserves it.

Lifestyle and fashion vlogger Camille Co loved the bag and said, “So cute!” While Mimiyuuuh’s other content creator friends like Angel Dei and Bea Fabregas all told her, “Deserve!”

Mimiyuuuh’s flourishing career as a content creator

In case you forgot, Mimiyuuuh got popular in 2019 as she was the one responsible for the “Dalagang Pilipina” meme. With the reach that her YouTube and TikTok videos amassed in a span of several months only, brands came knocking on her door. She gained endorsement deals, left and right.

With that, the simple girl who would do random online video trends in front of her pink Orocan cabinet became the breadwinner of her family. She slowly reached her dreams because of her stardom and of course, because of all her efforts.

In 2020, Mimiyuuuh was able to help her family build their own house! In 2023, she successfully bought her dream car worth P5.2 million. She’s totally reaping her well-deserved rewards for working hard not just for herself, but most importantly for her family.

Recently, Mimiyuuuh has been going places—literally. She traveled to Paris, France, and as a fashion design graduate, she surely had the time of her life out there. We’re so happy for you, Mimiyuuuh! Deserve!
