Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino will be reuniting for an upcoming movie.

The actors announced on the Aug. 12 episode of It’s Showtime that they are set to star in the romcom My Love Will Make You Disappear.

“Na-mis natin ‘yung pelikulang romcom [mula] sa Star Cinema. Pre-pandemic pa ata nung nagkaroon tayo ng true blue romcom from Star Cinema. Kaya ngayong taon, managing part tayo [nito] na nakaka-excite dahil sa inyo,” said the movie’s director Chad Vidanes.

He went on to describe the film as a show of “how the magic of love can make things go wild and fun.”

Star Cinema has also released the movie poster. The story is by Prime Cruz and is written by Patrick Valencia and Isabella Policarpio.

The upcoming flick marks the first time Kim and Paulo will star in a movie together. They both previously starred in the 2023 series Linlang with JM de Guzman and the recent local adaptation of the K-drama What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim? which was also directed by Chad Vidanes.
