Kim Chiu no longer wants to talk about her previous relationship. The *Chinita Princess* says that after confirming her breakup with Xian Lim last December, she hoped it would be the last time she would address the situation.

Kim Says “The Journey Was Beautiful”
Kim has been pointedly silent about her breakup with Xian. On the other hand, Xian offered a graceful perspective on the parting of ways in his cover feature with Esquire. “No one will truly know what is going on in a relationship. Kaming dalawa lang makakapagsabi. And that is why it was our conscious effort to release that statement, and let’s just leave it at that. It was a mutual understanding between me and (her) and that we’re going our separate ways. Hindi na kailangan pang magsabi kung sino’ng nagkulang,” he said.
In an exclusive interview with ABS-CBN, Kim finally commented on her breakup.
She said, “Entering 2024, sabi ko talaga I just want a fresh start, new beginning and I don’t want to dwell sa past. Parang ‘yung post ko nung December, sabi ko, this will be the last time na pag-uusapan ko ito. Pero parang ang dami pa rin. Parang hindi naman siya mapag-uusapan kung no one’s lighting the fire.”
Kim also clarified that there are no ill feelings between her and Xian. “It ended, the journey was beautiful. Ayaw ko nang maging masama ‘yung loob ko. He’s happy. Kasi paulit-ulit na lang. Let’s give it a rest and let’s leave respect to each other.”
Life After KimXi
Xian is currently dating Iris Lee, a Senior Associate Producer at Viva Communications Inc. Kim continues to bask in the success of What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim. Last week, Kim’s co-star Paulo Avelino defended her from fans pushing her into a new relationship. Paulo commented, “Kim just came from, hindi naman sa nangingialam, but Kim just came from a relationship so hayaan muna natin mag-enjoy yung mga tao and give them time to explore a bit more.”
Later on in the same interview, Kim shared her positive thoughts on coupling up. “…Love takes time. You don’t look for it, you also don’t ask for it, if it comes, it comes. Hindi mo siya hahanapin. Darating lang talaga siya sa tamang panahon.”
