Kapamilya actor Coco Martin revealed that he is preparing for a new limited series with It’s Showtime host Vhong Navarro. In an exclusive interview with ABS-CBN News, the FPJ’s Batang Quiapo actor shared how different the story will be from his usual action-dramas.

This will be the first time that the two actors will be working together. Coco previously worked with Vhong’s son, Yce, on Batang Quiapo.

“May binubuo akong konsepto with Vhong Navarro. Medyo mabigat. Action, suspense, drama, at saka comedy.

Coco assured fans that the limited series they’re currently preparing for is much bolder and more action-packed than his previous works. He added that he will be pushing the limits in action scenes that viewers haven’t seen before.

Despite Vhong’s nature of being a natural comedian, Coco maintained that the former will be having a totally different character–– away from his usual image. He stressed that the limited series won’t be an action-comedy.

Iba ang storya,” he pointed out.

The said limited series is currently in the development stage and the actor-director is pushing for it to be on several streaming platforms in the future.

Meanwhile, Coco expressed his excitement as he returned to the indie scene. His latest films, Apag and Pula, topped the most-watched list of Netflix Philippines.
