Karylle finally opens up about past relationship with Dingdong Dantes; refuses to admit real score with Yael Yuzon
Karylle likens Dingdong to “tamilok,” a woodworm or mollusk.
Karylle on surviving her breakup with Dingdong Dantes: “Actually, everything’s in the past. But I was looking through some poems I had written. Siguro, long after, I was still writing things that hurt me. But at least I dealt with it and I was very, very honest with myself. Painfully honest, pero natapos din siya.”
Makalipas ang tatlong taon matapos ang breakup nila ni Dingdong Dantes, maluwag na sa loob ni Karylle na magkuwento tungkol sa mga pinagdaanan nila ng kanyang famous ex-boyfriend.
Nakaraan na raw kasi ito at may kanya-kanya na silang buhay ngayon.
Ito ang sabi ni Karylle sa live interview sa kanya ni Boy Abunda para sa “Ikaw Na” segment ng late-night news program ng ABS-CBN, ang Bandila, na napanood kagabi, November 9.
Hindi kasi nakaiwas ang singer-actress nang muling ungkatin ni Boy ang tungkol dito.
Sa kainitan daw kasi ng paghihiwalay nila ni Dingdong, maraming tao ang nag-isip na mahihirapang maka-recover si Karylle.
Pag-amin naman ni Karylle, kasama na raw siya sa mga taong nag-isip ng ganito.
“Isa na ako dun. Akala ko I’ll be hiding under a rock.
“I have to migrate or whatever,” sabi ng singer-actress.
Paano niya na-survive ito?
“I prayed. I prayed a lot. Nag-retreat ako.
“I faced every fear that I had.
“I was thankful na I was surrounded by so much people who love me.
“I think grace of God also just pulled me through.”
Gaano katagal ito?
“A year… more than.”
Was it a roller-coaster ride?
“Actually, everything’s in the past.
“But I was looking through some poems I had written.

“Siguro one day that will happen.
“But we’ve texted a couple of times.
“Kumbaga, naparating ko na sa kanya na, ‘Okay na lahat, ha.’ Parang ganun.
“Kasi ayoko namang isipin niya na galit pa ako or anything.”
Sumagot naman daw si Dingdong sa text niya.
