Gwen Apuli of BINI appealed once again to fans to respect the group’s privacy, as she revealed there were some who went as far as knocking on their room doors just to ask for photos.

“Nakakalungkot, palala na [nang] palala,” Gwen lamented on her X (formerly Twitter) page on Wednesday, Aug. 14.

I really hope everyone respect people’s privacy. ‘Yung personal time we’re trying to adjust eh kasi wala ganon na talaga, pero kahit privacy na lang,” she added.

Gwen further underscored their appreciation of their fans’ love and support. “We always try na mapagbigyan kayo sa pagpa-picture but please, not to the point you’ll go knock [on] our rooms just for a picture. Thank you.”

Gwen’s fellow members Colet Vergara and Aiah Arceta also expressed their dismay by sharing Gwen’s statement through their respective X pages.

“We genuinely care for and appreciate everyone who supports us. However, at the end of the day, tao lang din kami and need din namin ng personal time and space para makapag-recharge,” Aiah said.

“Recharged BINI girlies = renewed energy and positive spirit that can radiate to everyone else,” she stated. “Thank you to all the blooms who are very respectful with our space and have asked nicely for a photo, the best kayo.”

Prior to this, Aiah also called for respect after a disturbing encounter with a man who abruptly went close to her and her face while the singer was at a bar in Cebu.
