Bianca Lapus took to Instagram and shared a bible verse for her ex-husband Vhong Navarro amid cases he faced.
Vhong’s ex-wife posted a Bible verse-themed art card to Instagram in her Instagram stories. In the caption, Bianca added the words “for Vhong” and an emoji of folded hands.
The said verse came from the Book of Psalms, which reads, “O God, take up my cause! Defend me against these ungodly people. Rescue me from these unjust liars.”
Prior to the said post, Bianca also shared a couple of cryptic IG stories about justice. One of her cryptic posts shows a quote from ancient author William Scott Downey. “Law without justice is wounded without a cure,” it reads.
Vhong was moved from the NBI Detention Center to the Taguig City Jail. Niko Baua, an ABS-CBN news reporter, posted a video of him being led out of the jail. Later, another video was distributed that showed Vhong’s wife Tanya Bautista accompanying him on the transfer.
On November 5, the hearings for Vhong’s bail petition came to a close. Deniece Cornejo showed up in front of the court during the previous hearing to give testimony opposing the petition.
Then, Atty Alma Mallonga, Vhong’s attorney, provided a statement regarding the outcome of the bail hearing. She claimed they had done enough and were hoping the court would rule in their favor.
