A string of rumors were recently thrown against some of the hosts of the Kapamilya noontime show “It’s Showtime”.

One of the rumors involved Jackie Gonzaga. She was rumored to be pregnant, with Ion Perez allegedly being the father and because of this incident, Ion and Vice Ganda’s relationship was allegedly on the rocks.

Another hot topic was “It’s Showtime’s” contract with GMA-7. During the press conference Friday, Vice was teasing and candidly joking about what’s going to happen in December.

ABS-CBN News sought for Vice Ganda and Vhong Navarro’s reaction to their circulating rumors, and loyal followers of the show believe that there is a demolition job against the hosts.

Without batting an eyelash, Vice quipped, “Well, there really was or there really is a demolition job against ‘It’s Showtime.'”

“Pero hindi naman natin sasabihin kung kanino nanggagaling yun. Yung ginagawa sa social media, demolition job yun, diba? Nung mga trolls, demolition job yun eh. Meron silang masamang intensyon at balak kaya demolition job yun,” she added.

“Maaaring kami ay may kakayahan o nasa isang posisyon na gustong maranasan at makuha din ng iba. At para makuha nila yun, kailangan nilang subukan yun ganung ruta. Kailangan natin mabasag at makuha yung kung anong meron sa kanila.”

For the past fifteen years, the show has gone through a lot from suspensions, to backlashes, to hosts resigning and leaving, new additions and more. Vice stressed that it’s their strong bond that keeps them and the show together.

“We just have to deal with it and we just have to keep on going.”

She added, “Kaming lahat sa dami nang pinagdaanan namin, I believe that our team is strong enough to be able to battle all these negativities, challenges and threats together. It will be hard kung hindi kami magkakasama. Kaya yun ang lagi naming pinananatili at tinatawid. Kailangan magkakasama tayo.”

Vhong added, “Wala naman talagang perpekto, may mga pagkakamali. Sa dami mong ginawa na tama, isang pagkakamali lang na nagawa mo, ang maaalala lang ng mga tao ay yung isang pagkakamali na yun. Kumbaga, hindi mo maple-please lahat ng tao.”

“It’s Showtime” will be celebrating their 15th anniversary on-air on October 24. And in that week, the noontime program will have their annual ‘Magpasikat’ where hosts perform and compete in groups.
