Ryan Agoncillo recalls little known detail of his marriage proposal to wife Judy Ann Santos

It seems Ryan Agoncillo may have just won the best wedding proposal ever for his romantic and creative way of asking for now-wife Judy Ann Santos’s hand in marriage.

Ryan and Judy Ann are considered one of the strongest real-life couples in showbiz. The celebrity couple has been married for more than 12 years now.

In a sit-down vlog interview with journalist Karen Davila, Ryan and Judy Ann shared some interesting details about their love story including how their marriage proposal went.

Ryan revealed that he wrote a book and had it printed for Judy Ann.

He shared, “She was doing a film called ‘Ploning’ at that time sa Dumaguete, sumama ako para mag-take ng pictures and ang request niya is I make a book out of the BTS [behind the scenes] photos.”

The Eat Bulaga host followed Judy Ann’s request to write a book and used it as an instrument to get her to say “Yes.”

Ryan continued, “So I did produce that book and the book was launched but nakalagay doon sa dulo ng book that people can buy ‘Maligayang kaarawan, Judy Ann, sana ay magustuhan mo’ that’s for all the books.

“Then I had one book printed saying ‘Will you marry me?’.”

“That’s what I gave her on her birthday and may singsing na kasama,” he added.

In the same vlog interview, Juday also admitted that she felt something is missing in her life back then until she met Ryan who brought her the life she always wanted.

“I prayed for a partner who would show me what life is and then when Ryan came along, I saw na this is the life that I’m missing, this is the life that I want simple lang naman akong paligayahin e,” she shared.

Ryan and Judy Ann tied the knot in 2009 and were blessed with three kids, namely Yohan, Lucho, and Luna.
