Pia Wurtzbach-Jauncey has given her followers a closer look at the progress of her ongoing house renovation.

The Miss Universe 2015 titleholder took to her Instagram stories to share a “progress check,” showcasing the latest developments.

In one of the photos, Pia is seen inspecting the freshly painted wall of what appears to be the living room, while the floor remains carefully covered in cardboard to protect the pristine flooring underneath.

Smiling alongside the renovation team, Pia excitedly captioned the post, “NOT LONG NOW [smiley face emoji],” hinting that the completion date is just around the corner.

It can be recalled that on January 26, 2022, Pia first gave her fans a sneak peek of her new house and lot.

The house, featuring sleek white walls, floor-length glass windows, and tasteful wood elements, was still a blank canvas at the time as she worked on designing the interiors.

Cheekily, she captioned her post, “Welcome Home, Pia! [emoji] oops…just practice! [emoji] So what’s up, is it BYOB? Bring Your Own Bank? [chair emoji] My house is empty yet LOL!

“One of my personal projects this year is being hands on with my new home. So excited to take you guys with me through the process! [blue heart emoji] What style do you think I’ll go for? [emoji]”

PIA EXPRESSES APPRECIATION TO HER TEAM

The house renovation officially kicked off in February 2023 with a celebratory gathering.

Pia used the occasion to express her gratitude to the entire team, most notably to her interior designer, Patrick Henri Caunan.

“We have really good energy so, that’s so important that you know what you can say, what you like, what you don’t like,” she said of her collaboration with Patrick.

“And that she’s not afraid of me either. I don’t like it because when Pia seemed to agree with us, it seemed like they wouldn’t correct me.

“But then with Pat, sometimes he’ll say, ‘This is so unnecessary, don’t do this’ or ‘You need to do some things, this and that,’ so then, it’s a nice give and take.”

The 35-year-old beauty queen also gave a shoutout to Patrick for introducing her to the team at Fitnesscape Creative Studio, who have been working on the architecture side of the renovation.

“You [Patrick] work so hard in helping connect me to all of you [Fitnesscape Creative Studio team],” Pia said, gesturing to the Fitnesscape team.

“I can’t do this or I won’t know you if I’m alone. I’ll have a hard time finding you. So Pat, thank you so much for helping me make all of this possible.”

She added: “And I know that most of you have been talking to Pat as my representative na rin so, you have been working not just as an interior designer but also kind of like a manager.”

“Thank you, you have been really amazing and I can’t wait for the next you know, the next few months and for the final result.”

Patrick, touched by Pia’s appreciation, responded with a heartfelt message of his own (published as is): “oh my gosh I’m super touched naman with this testimonial, I didn’t expect this speech haha meron tears na sa eyes ko grabe..

“thank you for your trust and for believing in my design talent and negotiating capabilities haha.

“I love working with you not only because you’re a superstar a big celebrity but you are really a super duper good person, super mabait grabe! and down to earth and you have a big heart plus na lang na you are really beautiful and our forever Ms. Universe..”
