Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach is an ideal match for Bulgari.

At the luxury brand’s welcome dinner on July 6, 2024, she was officially welcomed as an esteemed member of the Bulgari family, where she stunned in the luxury fashion house’s serpentine collection and a gorgeous black Alaïa evening dress.

She expressed her excitement by drawing a parallel between her personal journey and the serpent motif, which Bulgari’s founder, Sotirio Bulgari, used to honor his Greek roots and Roman heritage.

Pia wrote in the caption: “Stepping into this new chapter with @bvlgari, a symbol of rebirth and transformation—values that resonate deeply with me.

“The serpent, from the Serpentine collection, shedding its skin to be reborn, mirrors my own journey of growth and renewal. [snake emoji]”

Delving further into the specifics of this journey, Pia reflected on her first core memory with the brand in a subsequent post.

“My journey with @bvlgari started a few years ago when I walked into their store in Solaire Resort,” she recalled.

“I wandered into their store purely to admire their pieces up close—I had always appreciated their craftsmanship from afar but had never felt them on my own skin.

“That day, I tried on a few pieces just to see how they looked, capturing those moments in photos that I still treasure today.”

During this experience, she relates: “What struck me was not just the beauty of the jewelry, but how wearing it made me feel — elegant, empowered, and connected to something timeless.

“While attending Paris Fashion Week last year, I found myself in a pivotal moment of endless possibilities of transformation with Bvlgari.

“My journey has been a testament to the power of dreams and perseverance.”

She concluded, “It’s not just about the jewelry; it’s about breaking barriers, representing diversity on a global stage, and creating unforgettable moments together.”

Pia as a “Friend of the House”

Bulgari recently appointed Pia as its first-ever Filipino ambassador.

The announcement was made on June 19, 2024, via Bulgari’s social-media accounts, just a few days after the brand commemorated its 140th anniversary.

Aside from launching its Aeterna collection—a look back on the evolution of the brand’s signatures—Bulgari continued the celebration by officially naming the Miss Universe 2015 titleholder a “Friend of the House.”

“Bulgari is the epitome of timeless beauty,” Pia said in an official statement.

“The stories behind each piece are like chapters from a classic novel – rich, captivating, and full of intrigue.

“There’s a certain call and power whenever I wear Bulgari. It’s like stepping into a whole new world of elegance and confidence,” she described.

Understanding the products’ inventive features, Pia declared: “To me, it’s not just about the jewelry; it’s about how it transforms a woman, how it empowers her to conquer any room with grace and poise—and live boldly in the moment.

“I’m happy to be part of telling that story and sharing that inspiration.”

Pia joins the ranks of Hollywood A-listers Anne Hathaway, Zendaya and Priyanka Chopra, who have been the face of the brand for many years already.

EMI GALA 2024

Just weeks before officially becoming an ambassador, Pia hinted at the partnership by wearing Bulgari pieces at the 2024 EMI Gala Fashion Awards held in Dubai starting on April 28, 2024.

Her magnificent Michael Cinco gown was paired with accessories from Bulgari’s Serpenti High Jewelry collection, featuring a three-strand diamond pavé necklace with matching earrings and a ring.
