Heaven Peralejo was recently announced as the newest cast member of Lumuhod Ka Sa Lupa, the TV5 action-drama series starring Kiko Estrada.

In a teaser trailer released by the VIVA TV YouTube Channel, the actress was teased alongside two new cast members. She will be playing the role of Hope Soldado in the show.

“Anong pag-asa ang dala niya sa buhay ni Norman Dela Cruz?” the trailer teased viewers.

Heaven will be working alongside Kiko, who is her ex-boyfriend. It could be recalled that the two started working together in the ABS-CBN drama series Bagong Umaga in April 2021 and confirmed their relationship in August of the same year.

A month later, the two called their relationship off. Eagle-eyed netizens first noticed that Kiko unfollowed Heaven on Instagram and deleted their photos on the social media site. A few weeks later, Heaven unfollowed Kiko.

Last May, Kiko signed with Viva Artists Agency, the same talent agency that handles Heaven. During his signing, the actor answered the press whether he’s open to working with Heaven again.

“I don’t know. Actually, I just wish her the best, but maybe I have my own thing and she has her own thing,” he said. “I mean, for me, it’s just work, but I don’t want any stress in my life. ‘Coz this Lumuhod Ka sa Lupa came from peace, came from peace of mind, came from rebirth, if you wanna call it.”

Now, after a few recent episodes, the two look like they are professional on set as Heaven has entered the world of Lumuhod Ka Sa Lupa as Hope.

Kiko leads the action-drama series which airs on TV5, playing the role of Norman Dela Cruz. He is also part of showbiz royalty, being the son of actor-politician Gary Estrada and former actress Cheska Diaz, as well as the grandson of actors Paquito Diaz and George Estregan.

In recent times, Kiko has shown his growth as an actor, showcasing his versatility in the craft with his various roles in films such as Bela Luna, Sapul, and 40, the latter movie he starred in alongside Cindy Miranda.
