Kim Chiu has recently received her award from the prestigious PMPC Star Awards for Music.

The award-giving body named the actress the Novelty Artist of the Year for her song “Ms. Ukay,” the soundtrack of her Prime Video series titled “Fit Check: Confessions of an Ukay Queen.”

On her Instagram page, Kimmy shared photos of her showing off her trophy.

In her lengthy caption, the “It’s Showtime” host expressed how thankful she is for the recognition.

Furthermore, Kim earnestly apologized for not being able to accept the award personally.

Kim Chiu is a Filipina-Chinese actress and television host. She broke through in showbiz after becoming a winner in Pinoy Big Brother. She was born on April 19, 1990, in Cebu City to Chinese businessman William Chiu and Louella Yap. Kim is also known as the “Chinita Princess” and was once hailed as the “Princess of Philippine Movies and TV.”
