Kim shared that she faced a setback during rehearsals when an accident sent her to the hospital for a CT scan. Despite the incident, she persevered, embodying the message of resilience and the importance of taking a moment to pause.

Ogie Alcasid confronted his fear of heights by performing on a tilted, rotating platform while playing piano and singing an original song. “I easily get dizzy, so that was intense,” he shared, revealing the personal challenge he overcame.

Comedians MC and Lassy also impressed with a challenging aerial cube act, showing that age doesn’t limit passion.

Their act centered on the theme of “taking a break,” captured in their message: “Kapag pagod ka na, tigil, hinga, kalma” (“When you’re tired, stop, breathe, calm down”). Ogie reflected, “We constantly tell ourselves, ‘It’s exhausting,’ but instead of pausing, we keep pushing, thinking it will relieve the struggles, bitterness, and pain in life.”

Drawing inspiration from Psalm 46:10—”Be still and know that I am God”—Ogie added, “This isn’t just a suggestion. God commands us, ‘Be still. I’ll take care of everything.’”

The team shared personal reflections on their careers, with Kim expressing the pressures of social media and constant comparison. “Sometimes, we feel purposeless because we think this is all we are… We work so hard that we neglect our loved ones,” she said.

Kim Chiu, who previously won the Magpasikat title in 2023 with teammates Jhong Hilario and Ion Perez, continues to solidify her place as a beloved figure in entertainment through her boundary-pushing performances and heartfelt dedication.

During her intense rehearsals for Magpasikat 2024, she felt light-headed and fatigued, which was later attributed to dehydration and exhaustion. After receiving fluids and resting under medical supervision, Kim assured fans that she was fine, emphasizing it was just a case of overexertion and lack of hydration. Despite the brief setback, her determination remained strong, and she quickly returned to the stage, inspiring fans with her dedication and professionalism.
