Actress Heart Evangelista has been reaching out to so many Filipinos ever since the country was hit by the COVID-19 pandemic.

She has done several ways to ease the burden of people in need. Everyday, for instance, she contacts five people asking for her help online and she sends them monetary help.

Heart also extended help to the Sorsogon frontliners who persistently work hard in order to win the battle against COVID-19.

As an animal lover, the Kapuso actress sent assistance as well to animal shelters and gave them boxes of treats to augment the food needs of the furry kind.

And it looks like Heart will continue to help and impart her blessings to others for as long as she can.

Four days ago, June 5, she sold her newly-finished painting and the proceeds of which were intended to buy her promised tablets for less-fortunate students.

Online classes have been a substitute for students to continue learning amidst these troubling times but not all has the means. Thus, Heart decided to address this students’ needs this time around.

With her painting sold, she was able to procure 550 pieces of tablets!

She wrote on her tweet, “My struggles in life are unknown to many but art, fashion and expressing myself has always helped me cope with my not so fairytale life.

“The time, hard work and love that I put out in this artwork was well worth it as the proceeds have allowed me to purchase 550 tablets for angels.”

A month ago, Heart posted on her Instagram feed the unfinished version of the said artwork and named it “Crowded Thoughts.”

You’re such a blessing to many, Heart! Keep doing you!
