Inihayag ni Xian Lim na hindi siya ang nagpasimula sa breakup nila ni Kim Chiu na tumapos sa 12 taon nilang relasyon.
Sa episode ng “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” nitong Miyerkules, tinanong ng King of Talk si Xian kung nanatili pa ba silang magkaibigan ni Kim kahit hiwalay na sila.
“Of course. Nagulat ako sa tanong. Of course, yes,” ayon sa aktor, sinabing hindi pa niya ulit nakakausap ang dating nobya mula nang maghiwalay sila noong nakaraang taon.
“When that night happened, maayos ‘yung pag-uusap namin. Of course, merong iyakan, but there was that assurance na we—we went through 12 years, ‘di ba? 12 years of our existence, so it has that respect, you know?” saad ni Xian.
“I wasn’t the one who initiated the breakup,” dagdag ni Xian.
Batid umano ni Xian na may fans na galit sa kaniya pero sinabi ng aktor na “my record is clean.”
“I think the length of [the relationship] speaks for itself and ‘yung mga pambabatikos sa ‘kin ng karamihan, I think they should just look at it from a lens na for more than a decade, I never had—my record is clean, and I’m proud of that. You’re not gonna see me in places you’re not supposed to see me, you know?” paliwanag niya.
“The time speaks for itself. It’s just sad na maraming intriga na lumalabas, especially against me,” sabi pa niya.
Nilinaw din ni Xian na hindi siya gumagawa ng ingay para pag-usapan dahil lang may pelikula siya ngayon na “Playtime.”
Disyembre noong nakaraang taon nang kumpirmahin nina Kim at Xian ang kanilang paghihiwalay.
Nitong nakaraang buwan, ibinahagi ni Xian na nagkakamabutihan na sila ng film producer na si Iris Lee.
Pero nilinaw ng aktor na break na sila ni Kim nang simulan niyang suyuin si Iris.
