San Miguel Beermen center June Mar Fajardo’s dominant showing in the 2024 PBA Philippine Cup has paid off after being awarded the Best Player of the Conference plum.

The Pinamungajan, Cebu-native received his 10th PBC citation prior to the start of Game 4 of the PBA Finals series between the Beermen and the Meralco Bolts on Wednesday night at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Fajardo bested Beermen teammate Jaymar Perez, Barangay Ginebra San Miguel Kings’ Christian Standhardinger, Terrafirma Dyip’s Stephen Holt, and NLEX Road Warriors’ Robert Bolick Jr.

The 6-foot-10 Cebuano slotman tallied 1,100 total points to win the citation, as he topped the statistics (472), media votes (514), and player votes (114).

The seven-time PBA MVP accumulated 43.12 statistical points with his averages of 17.3 points, 14.5 rebounds, and 3.1 assists through the semifinals round.

The Beermen are looking to tie their best-of-seven championship series with the Bolts tonight.
