Heart Evangelista has unveiled her Paris apartment to the public.
On November 2, 2024, she provided an exclusive tour of the apartment for her reality series, Heart World.
This gave viewers a glimpse into Heart’s Parisian lifestyle during her work trips and appearances in Paris Fashion Week shows.
In the second episode, Heart revealed that she purchased the apartment a few years ago as a means to establish her independence during one of the most challenging periods in her life.
Heart recalled, “I think, mga a few years ago. Pangarap ko talaga magkaroon ng apartment sa Paris.
“Akala ko imposible, pero ang imposible naging posible. Dahil may pinagdadaanan akong medyo mabigat ng mga panahong iyan.
“It was a time in my life na kailangan kong patunayan sa sarili ko na kaya kong tumayo na mag-isa.”
It was around September 2022 when Heart first revealed on her social media accounts that she has finally moved in to her new home in Paris.
In the show, Heart mentioned that she worked tirelessly on her artworks and even sold some of her jewelry to afford her new apartment abroad.
“And even if it was a bad time in my life, what the devil uses for evil, God will use for good. And now, I’m in a happy place. Nagkaroon na ako ng apartment sa Paris.”

HEART EVANGELISTA IN PARIS
Heart didn’t disclose the exact location of her Paris residence.
But she did mention that her neighborhood is located outside the city and feels quite safe, especially compared to areas within the city where unsavory characters are more common.
She said, “So yung outdoors ng apartment is the place where you can really walk. E, pangarap ko pa naman maglakwatsa, mag-commute, ganyan.
“Gusto ko talaga yung nagbibili-bili ng mga bulaklak. Parang yung nakikita niyo sa Emily in Paris.”

Heart further revealed that a friend, who is also her agent, found this apartment for her.
“I have a friend. My agent, her name is Alice, and she lives in this area. Also, this area is diyan nakatira yung mga ibang artista, ganyan.
“Noong nakita ko yung apartment na ito, talagang na-in love ako kasi parang fresh. Kumbaga, new place. And then, nakita ko yung spiral na staircase na, ‘Ah, ito na yun.'”
Heart shared more about her apartment-hunting experience, revealing that she found a place that perfectly suited her style.
However, the Kapuso actress opted not to proceed with it because it was 20 million pesos more than her current apartment.
“Meron ako isang nakitang apartment na very Emily in Paris, pero ito na, short ako ng 20 million pesos. Magsho-showgirls na ako talaga.”
Heart mentioned that another reason for getting an apartment in Paris was to save on hotel costs, as she envisions a long-term commitment to her fashion week-related engagements.
She also sees it as a place to create more memories with her family.
“The apartment at the time na pumupunta ako sa Paris, wala pa akong sponsorship sa mga hotels.
“So talagang malaking tipid siya para sa team ko. I made sure na two-bedroom siya. Bago nandoon yung walk-in ko, kuwarto din yun ng team ko.
“Tapos at least meron kaming pupuntahang lugar na we can make more memories. Kaya naisip ko mag-invest talaga sa isang apartment doon.”

HEART EVANGELISTA’S “TREE HOUSE” IN PARIS
As the show continued, Heart named her Paris apartment as her own “treehouse.”
The Kapuso actress fondly remembered having a treehouse during her childhood visits to her father Reynaldo Ongpauco’s farm in Cavite.
Tapos sa baba, meron kami ginawang treehouse made out of banana leaves.
“Tumatakbo kami ng kapatid ko, ng pinsan ko tapos… Gaganyan kami.”
Unfortunately, her treehouse experience was cut short when a group of kids set it on fire.
Heart shared that her initial days in her “treehouse” were quite challenging, as she had to handle most of the moving in herself.
“Walang gustong tumulong sa akin. And that was fashion week. So, can you imagine? Yung meron akong picture na nagkakarga ako ng halaman, yun yun.”
Heart added, “Tapos lahat ng mga artworks ko, nasa lapag kasi wala pa akong kilala pwedeng magpukpok ng mga ding-ding.”
However, Heart is thankful for her friends and team in Paris, who provided support and assistance during her moving-in process.
“Lahat yun, inuunti-unti namin. Kami ni Jade [Dela Vega], actually. Saka si Rolex, yung driver ko doon.
“Pero may mga times na mag-isa lang din ako na talagang karga-karga ko silang lahat.”
Things became much easier for Heart when her husband, Senator Chiz Escudero, took the time to help her settle into their Paris apartment.
“In the beginning, it was just me. But when my husband Chiz, when he came here, doon tinulungan niya na ako.
“So, nakakatuwa. Binantayan nilang ayusin itong lahat.”

HEART EVANGELISTA: LIVING ROOM
Heart kicked off the tour in her home’s living room, revealing that she personally handled most of the interior design for her Paris apartment.
“So when I was able to purchase this, it was a mess,” she said.

She expressed her preference for major furniture pieces in white, explaining that it allows her trinkets and various display items to introduce vibrant pops of color to the space.
“I wanted to do all white because I wanted to make it feel fresh. Na kahit ang dami kong mga anik-anik, mga abubots, it’s all still like very cohesive with one another.”

Heart incorporated large mirrors to make the rooms feel bigger, as her apartment isn’t as spacious as people might think, especially compared to her larger house in Manila.
Additionally, she shared some tips on arranging her colorful displays and trinkets—most of which she brought from Manila—to enhance the overall aesthetic.
She shared, “Ang ginawa ko, dahil maliit lang yung bahay ko, yung mga tips ko was I tried to bring, of course, yung mga times na yun, halos lahat na makakita mo doon galing sa Manila.
“I wanted everything to have a common theme, which I wanted all of the colors to be majority white. Para malinis lang siya.
“Tapos kung magkakaroon ka ng pop of color, malalagay mo doon sa shelf mo. But I wanted to have character.
“So that’s what I did. It’s all about putting together your most prized possessions and color-coordinating each shelf para hindi siya magulo sa paningin.”

Heart also gave a glimpse into her bedroom and walk-in closet.

Similar to her living room, she personally designed the interiors of these private spaces.
Heart said, “This is a very sweet room. And nung ginawa ko ito, wala akong interior designer. So as you can see, magulong-magulo siya because that’s me.
“I like to be surrounded by memories, items that I find very interesting.
“So a lot of the stuff here, I hand-carried with me from the Philippines and a lot are just given by brands or gifts from friends.”
One of her favorite spaces in the bedroom is her vanity area, where she spends most of her time conceptualizing content and, of course, preparing for fashion-week events.
Heart said, “This is where I do my glam. This is where you will find me most of the time conceptualizing my reels. And all of these are like from the Philippines.”

Next to her vanity area is where she keeps her collection of rose quartz.
“The corner over here, surrounded by my rose quartz, love quartz. Hinand-carry ko iyan.
“Many trips, unti-unti. So nabuo ko na siya. So anything love quartz is going to Paris.
“Para you’re just always calm, fresh, ganyan.”
Heart brought her beloved stuffed toys from the Philippines to her Paris home, along with her collection of dog figurines that serve as a reminder of her pets.

Heart has transformed the other room in her apartment into a walk-in closet that also serves as a guest room, accommodating her glam team when they’re in Paris.
This is also where she keeps her clothes made by Filipino fashion designers.
“This is where I pack, I put all of my Filipino designers. I like to bring a lot of, a mix of Filipino designers, yung iiwan ko na siya dito.
“Yung mga designers dito sa Pilipinas, hindi lang talaga sila nabibigyan ng pagkakataon.
“So I try to bring as much as I can sa Paris, at doon ko sila sino-store, para kung meron akong mga moment na biglang nag-open up para sa akin, ang first priority ko talaga is suotin ang Pinoy na designer.”
