Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray took to Instagram to share another photo of herself without wearing any make-up, showing what is behind her usual “flawless” veneer.

“Hiii just jumping on here with a bare faced selfie to remind you that even though in photoshoots, makeup and IG story filters, my skin looks “flawless”…in reality I have pores, oiliness, fine lines, breakouts, beauty spots and moles…and I’m perfectly fine with that,” she wrote.

After opening up about her imperfections, the beauty queen and singer reminded everyone that what people see online should not be compared to what they are in real life.

“This is just a kind, little reminder to remember that what we see online is a ‘curated feed’, and that we shouldn’t compare that to our everyday reality,” she said.

Catriona concluded her post with the hashtag #AsSheIs, an online campaign that moves women to be vulnerable and unfiltered on their social media pages.

This is not the first time Catriona has talked about the goal behind the campaign. It was last November 2019 when she posted a barefaced photo and saying she has grown to love the skin she is in.

“I too have days where I don’t feel confident, or my insecurities are louder…but that’s okay. Loving yourself as you are is a journey, but it’s a journey worth taking,” she wrote.
