Actress-vlogger Riva Quenery has parted ways with her long-time boyfriend, Vern Ong.

The two confirmed their breakup in a joint statement released on Instagram on Monday.

“As many of you have noticed, we are no longer together. We broke up a few months ago,” the statement read.

According to the former couple, they remain on good terms and continue to co-parent their daughter, Athena.

“There are no goodbyes, because at the end of the day, we will always be Athena’s parents and we will continue to love and support her,” added the former couple, who thanked their fans for supporting their five-year relationship.

On Instagram Stories, Quenery thanked Ong for their “five beautiful years” together, saying that she will always care for her former partner.

“You were my best friend, and I have never loved anyone like you. Always remember that I’m rooting for you, no matter where life takes us,” she said.

“Thank you for being such a beautiful part of my story. I will carry those memories with me forever,” she added. “You’ll always have a place in my heart.”

Ong, for his part, thanked Quenery for “changing me and making me a better person.”

He also wished her “nothing but the best,” saying he will always cherish their relationship.

“I know I wasn’t perfect as a partner, but I promise to be as close to a perfect father as I can for Athena,” he said.
