Regarding Hsu’s estate, her husband, South Korean musician DJ Koo, has chosen to relinquish his inheritance rights. He stated that all of Hsu’s assets, which she earned through her dedication to supporting her family, will be entrusted to her mother, Madam Huang Chun-mei. DJ Koo emphasized his intention to protect their children from any potential disputes over the inheritance.
Hsu’s estate is estimated to be valued at approximately NT$120 billion (about US$83 million). Following her passing, the estate is subject to an estimated NT$45.23 million (US$1.4 million) in taxes.
Hsu is survived by her two children from her previous marriage to Chinese businessman Wang Xiaofei. Under Taiwanese law, custody of the children will automatically transfer to Wang Xiaofei, who resides in China. He is expected to manage their inheritance until they reach adulthood.
