Could Cristiano be on his way to Manchester United for a third time?
Cristiano Ronaldo has been tipped to make a stunning return to Manchester United for a third spell.
Ronaldo, 39, left under a cloud of controversy back in 2022 after a public falling out with manager Erik ten Hag.
Since then, the former Real Madrid star has enjoyed time in Saudi Arabia with Al-Nassr.
Ronaldo’s contract with the Saudi Pro League outfit is set to expire in 2025.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner has previously expressed his desire to continue playing until he reaches 1000 career goals.
One former teammate of his believes when United come calling, it’ll be hard to refuse.
“When it comes to Cristiano Ronaldo returning to Manchester United in some capacity you can never say never,” Wes Brown recently told BoyleSports, who offer the latest Champions League betting.
“Obviously when he left the second time we were all disappointed because he had been one of United’s best ever players, it was disappointing how it ended and I think he could return to try and make amends for the sour ending.
“Even in his first season back at the club he scored over 20 goals.
“I think the exit was a bit over the top but for him to come back in some way. I’d love it.”

Ronaldo has as of late been fairly outspoken in his criticism of United following an eighth-place finish in the Premier League last season.
Al-Nassr parted ways with former boss Luis Castro earlier this week, with the experienced forward hoping a reunion in the dugout could therefore be lined up.
It is thought Ronaldo suggested a move for former Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane, but those advances have been quickly brushed away by the club.
