San Miguel Beer team captain Arwind Santos does not want to meddle with his teammates’ relationships and affairs of the heart.

However, he could not help but share his personal philosophy when asked to comment on the recently blooming love life of teammate June Mar Fajardo.

“I’m happy for June Mar,” he said about San Miguel’s treasured center, who is currently dating Ateneo Lady Eagle Aerieal Patnongon.

“Ang akin lang, pagka nagmamahal tayo, dapat nakakatulong siya sa trabaho mo, sa ginagawa mo,” he said. “Kailangan hindi siya nakakasira para sa ‘yo.”

Considering Fajardo’s performance in their past few games, it is evident that the volleyball player has done more than good to lift the Cebuano’s motivation.

The reigning PBA Most Valuable Player averaged 27 points in their last three matches, compared to his measly 12.5 points in their first eight games.

Fajardo even played his best game of the conference on Tuesday night, finishing with 31 points and 19 rebounds with his girlfriend watching him play live for the first time.
