Vice President Sara Duterte responded to President Bongbong Marcos’ claims about her alleged threat to him and First Lady Liza Marcos.

In an ambush interview, she questioned why a threat to the president’s life is treated as a national security concern, while a threat to the vice president is not given the same importance.

VP Sara previously stated that her remarks over the weekend were “taken out of logical context.”

She added, “Papalagan ko din ‘yung ginagawa nila sakin,” referring to what she described as unfair treatment towards her and the Office of the Vice President.

She embraced the vice president and was appealing to her not to leave her. The transfer order was read and effectuated by BGen. Nicolas Torre III. Lopez was ordered detained by Manila 3rd District Rep. Joel Chua following the hearing at the Quad Comm.
