Karylle talked about It’s Showtime‘s effect on her life
Singer-actress Karylle shared what her fellow It’s Showtime host Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda taught her.
For many years, the singer-actress, who is nicknamed K, has been part of the Kapamilya noontime show together with the pioneer hosts. It’s Showtime is celebrating its 15th anniversary as it continues to provide laughter and entertainment.
The show broadened its audience when the Kapuso network welcomed it on its main channel GMA and sister station GTV.
In a recent press conference for the show’s anniversary, based on the article in GMA Entertainment, some of the hosts were asked about how It’s Showtime changed their lives.
Vhong Navarro said that the show helped boost his popularity. Because of the show, many people have known him from different ages. Ryan Bang said that he was able to have a second family because of the people he was working with.
“Dito ko na-meet ‘yung mommy ko, Nanay Vice, Ate Karylle, Kuya Jhong, tapos Kuya Vhong. Lahat ‘yung pamilya ko rito sa It’s Showtime. Hindi lang po hosts, pati ‘yung staff, crew,” the Korean celebrity shared, adding that people behind the creation of the show are also important for him. Ryan said that everyone in the show became his family and he is thankful for this.
Karylle said that It’s Showtime taught her to laugh more. “Dito ko talaga natutunan maging maximum happy kasi choice natin ‘yan e. Titipirin mo ba ‘yung ligaya or itotodo mo ‘yan,” she shared.

“Sinasabi ko kay Vice, ‘You taught me how to laugh,’ ‘yung talagang ang panget ng mukha mo kakatawa kasi gano’n ‘yung deserve ng puso natin e. As people, that is what we should be feeling and ‘wag natin titipirin ‘yung feeling na ‘yon,” she shared.
Karylle also said that in the show, she was able to feel what people would say “energy.” It is because it can really be felt inside the studio. She also said that she learned the way of living her life better.
