Barbie Hsu was cremated before her family brought her ashes back
The news of Barbie Hsu’s death on February 2nd is still shaking the Chinese entertainment industry during the Lunar New Year. At the beginning of the new year, the actress and her family traveled to Japan and unfortunately she contracted the flu, leading to pneumonia and died.
Barbie Hsu passed away at the age of 48.
According to Taiwanese media, Barbie Hsu was cremated immediately after her death. Currently, Japan has strict regulations on this issue because the flu is raging there. Therefore, the actress’s family is forced to follow this regulation and will bring her ashes back to Taiwan after completing the procedures.
The family representative of Barbie Hsu has not shared specific information about the funeral schedule for the actress.
