Jane de Leon talked about Paulo Avelino

Kapamilya actress Jane de Leon admitted that she has a crush on Kapamilya actor Paulo Avelino.

Jane has come a long way since she was just doing supporting roles in TV series. She was chosen to portray the iconic superhero role Darna and this has opened a lot of opportunities for her.

From that, she was able to work with more prominent stars in the Philippine entertainment industry.

In a recent interview, based on the article in Bandera, Jane de Leon opened up about her admiration for Paulo Avelino, her ultimate crush in showbiz. “Ito po kasi talaga, muntik na muntik ko na siyang makatrabaho. Crush ko kasi talaga siya si Paulo Avelino. Alam niya ‘yon,” the actress said.

However, Jane immediately clarified that her crush has no malice and that Janine Gutierrez, the rumored girlfriend of Paulo, has nothing to worry about this.

Jane added that it is a given thing that the actor is being admired by many because of her handsome face. She stressed that what she likes more about the actor is the fact that he is a talented actor.

Meanwhile, during the same interview, Jane shared her dream role. She said that she wants to portray a character with multiple personalities like in the movie Split. The actress said that she wants to be challenged. 

Jane de Leon also expressed her desire to go international. “Then other than gusto ko rin makapapag-explore out of the country kasi I really love my craft so much. Pumasok naman ako rito not just for the fame or for money but of course I really love my craft,” the actress said.

When asked what she expects to happen in her life and career five years from now, Jane shared that she wants to see herself as a successful lady but she is still willing to embrace what is destined for her. She added that whatever comes into her life, she knows that there is a lesson in this that would help her grow.
