Ogie Diaz, in his latest online post, revealed that his eldest daughter had called him and was crying profusely during the phone call.

“Nag-video call yung eldest daughter ko, si Erin. Iyak nang iyak,” he began in his now-viral online post on the social media site, Facebook.

According to Ogie, he got nervous but could not help but curse his daughter when she told him she had passed her comprehensive exam.

“P*nyeta β€˜tong anak ko, pinakaba pa ako. Hahaha! Sabihin niyo nang OA, pero siyempre, mas kilala ko naman ang anak ko. Apaka-genuine ng kanyang reaction, kaya iyak siya nang iyak. Kasi nga naman, third try niya na yun kung mapi-please niya ang mga teacher chefs niya sa presentation niya ng kanyang luto sa kanyang Culinary course. Siyempre, malalalim ang appreciation ng mga yan,” he wrote.

According to Ogie, Erin would always apologize to him because she kept on failing, revealing that it took her three tries before passing.

“Lagi pa niyang sinasabi noon, ‘Daddy, sorry. Gagalingan ko na next time. Kaso ang laki na ng gastos mo sa mga pinamimili ko para lang makapag-practice,'” he recalled.

Eventually, in his post, Ogie revealed he also shed tears because of his daughter and was planning to give her an incentive, which she rejected.
