Egyptian singer Mona Farouk returned to the fore again to become the talk of the public on social media, after her recent statements in a video clip via “Tik Tok” about her desire to work with director Khaled Youssef, in response to a follower who tried to provoke her by talking about her relationship with the Egyptian director, which dates back years after the spread of a scandalous video of them together.
Mona responded to the follower, saying: “I hope to work with Khaled Youssef, and I pray for him to continue health, as he is a well-known, talented and returning director.”
Mona said in the video: “If I want to be connected, I will do it with halal,” and praised herself, saying: “I am the trend of the generation and every generation, because of Amoora and egg.”
In response to being accused of making those statements in an attempt to top the “trend”, Mona confirmed that she does not need to do so, as her name alone has become a distinctive sign, and she also indicated that she has passed the stage of making bold statements so that the public can talk about them.
Mona Farouk confirmed that she did not want to work with Khaled Youssef, but she has respect and appreciation for him, and was pleased with his return strongly to the artistic scene, but there are personal reasons why she did not think about cooperating with him again, and pointed out that what she said was a “mockery” of the comment of the person who tried to provoke her.
Mona Farouk, revealed that she has become stronger in the past two years, and will not allow anyone to trespass on her anymore or try to provoke her, as she is currently working in the field of advertising between Egypt and the UAE, and preparing for artistic projects, as she is thinking of marriage soon, calling on God at the end of her speech not to carry her more than her capacity.
