We’ve (literally) seen this coming. Mavy Legaspi and Ashley Ortega appear to have started opening up about their relationship. ICYMI, Mavy just posted a series of new photos on Instagram—and a cute shot of Ashley was included in it.

“Pit senyor! Daghang salamat Cebu/Cebuanos! Had a great Sinulog Festival with you guys!” Mavy wrote in his caption. His recent upload was a post-celebration of his visit to Cebu, which recently held its annual Sinulog Festival.

Among the pics, there was a photo of him and Ashley together. There was also a photo where Mavy and Ashley were smiling with their friends—except that they were seated together with Ashley’s arms over Mavy’s shoulders. Sweetness overload!

While it wasn’t written nor explicitly said—yet—that they are an official couple, clearly there’s something romantic going on between the two. It seems that there was no denying on Ashley’s part. She actually left a comment on Mavy’s IG, “pit senyor!” as if to further confirm that: yes, she was with Mavy in Cebu 🙂

Online citizens on Mavy’s IG post appeared appreciative and welcoming of his low-key hard launch from the Kapuso actor, who, by the way, just turned 24 years old. (Random fact: He’s two years younger than Ashley.)

“Ang ganda ni Ashley. Bagay na bagay kay Mavy,” one follower commented. Another said, “Happy for you Mavy. Stay in love.”

We’ve actually looked into some of the matchy pics that Mavy and Ashley uploaded weeks before Mavy reportedly hard launching Ashley on his IG grid.

It was on December 10, 2024, when we saw Mavy and Ashley’s Instagram Stories (by accident, promise!). First things first, they were both in Japan as seen on their IG stories that day. In the following days, Mavy and Ashley posted some photos that intensified our curiosity over their seemingly sweet relationship.

There’s a post from Ashley where she said, “You had me at Konnichiwa.” In that specific IG carousel, she shared some of the locations she visited. It was also clear in the photos that it was not a solo trip as she came with some of her non-showbiz friends (as tagged in one photo). So, it was all nice and simply interesting to see Ashley have the time of her life in Japan—until Mavy posted his IG dump for his Japan trip as well.

On December 17, Mavy uploaded pics which he captioned with, “Konnichiwa.” (Matchy captions?) Mavy also shared the locations he visited, but we still wanted to know if he went to Japan with Ashley, and so we looked closer. In a photo, Mavy only uploaded a photo of a shadow showing that there were seven people on that trip with him.
