Maine Mendoza Gave a Heartfelt Message Regarding TVJ’s Farewell

Former Eat Bulaga host Maine Mendoza shared a heartfelt message, following TVJ’s announcement of their resignation from TAPE Inc.

Maine also shared some photos taken from the Eat Bulaga studio.

The caption included, “Until again, dabarkads.”

Some of Maine Mendoza’s fans got emotional over the actress’ apparent farewell to the longest-running show Eat Bulaga.

Maine Mendoza first rose to fame on Eat Bulaga, as Yaya Dub, where she formed a phenomenal love team with actor Alden Richards.

Eat Bulaga is the longest-running noontime program on Philippine television. Eat Bulaga first aired on July 30, 1979.

Its first hosts were Vic Sotto, Joey de Leon, and Tito Sotto.

Meanwhile, GMA Network has released a statement regarding TVJ’s resignation from Tape Inc. “We are saddened by today’s unexpected turn of events with regard to Eat Bulaga. GMA has been the home of Eat Bulaga for many years and we still have a block time agreement with TAPE until the end of 2024 for the noontime slot. Together with all the Filipino fans, we pray for a smooth and swift resolution of their issues.
