The award-giving body named the actress the Novelty Artist of the Year for her song “Ms. Ukay,” the soundtrack of her Prime Video series titled “Fit Check: Confessions of an Ukay Queen.”
On her Instagram page, Kimmy shared photos of her showing off her trophy.
In her lengthy caption, the “It’s Showtime” host expressed how thankful she is for the recognition.
“I’m honored and grateful to be recognized as Novelty Artist of the Year! Thank you, PMPC Star Awards for music, for this recognition.”
She went on to express appreciation to people behind the creation of the song and to those who believed in her.
“This achievement is truly a shared one, and I owe it to many incredible people. Thank you to the show #FITCHECK @dreamscapeph, to the talented producers @starmusicph family sir @jonathanmanalo sir @roxsantos and @imjeremyg who poured their hearts into this song #MSUKAY . Furthermore, Kim earnestly apologized for not being able to accept the award personally.
