Henyo Master Joey de Leon had this generous gift for newlyweds Eat Bulaga host Jose Manalo and former EB Babe Mergene Maranan.
Jose and Mergeneβs wedding took place last Tuesday, Dec. 17 at a five-star hotel in Boracay. The ceremony was witnessed by Joseβs Eat Bulaga family, including the iconic trio Joey, Vic, and Tito Sotto.
The couple has been together for many years already and they now have two daughters and they adopted a son.

Based on the article by Pang-Masa entertainment writer Jun Nardo, the wedding ceremony happened on the beach front and the reception was beside the pool near the beach. However, it rained so, it was transferred to the hotel ballroom.
The showbiz writer said that a source revealed that when Joey de Leon arrived and saw Jose Manalo, he asked the groom if he would write βJose Manaloβ on the check.
Jose said that it should be βArielβ which is his real name. Then, Joey quipped, βBlank check βyun!β

Then, Nardo shared an alleged intriguing incident that happened during the wedding ceremony. He said that a female personality displayed βkasupladahan.β Allegedly that female personality was rolling her eyes to the male personality while he was walking on the aisle.
