Coleen Garcia reacts to fake news about Billy Crawford

The Voice Kids coach Billy Crawford became a victim of a death hoax just recently and here’s what his wife actress Coleen Garcia said about this.

Many celebrities have been victims of death hoaxes made by untrusted sites on social media that are just after for views and clicks without even considering the negative effects of this. The recent victim was Billy and even talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz reminded the public not to believe this.

Despite the reminders, some gullible social media users would still believe in this. In a recent interview, based on the article in The Philippine Star, Coleen spoke about this issue.

The actress shared that her husband Billy Crawford has already taken legal action against the spreader of the death hoax. “You know what, it’s just really sad that some people are so disrespectful,” she said.

Coleen Garcia shared that their family was in high spirits when they learned about the death hoax. They came from a trip and everyone was feeling good and then, this dreadful fake news about Billy circulated.

There’s so much love and respect for Billy in France, and nakakalungkot lang na pag-uwi namin, parang ‘yun na agad ‘yung nakita namin na parang nakaka-ano lang, na bakit parang dito pa mismo sa bansa namin ganyan ang mga tao?” the actress shared.

Coleen also said that because they were in France with tremendous respect from people there, then, coming home to the Philippines, something negative welcomed them.

However, she stressed that they are no longer affected by the death hoax. “I believe he (Billy) is already taking legal action against the people who posted,” the actress said.

Meanwhile, Billy Crawford went through a tough time before the death hoax. His father died and he shared an emotional post about this last September.
