Marian Rivera makes Ivana Alawi cry in latest vlog
Oh to be pranked by none other than Marian Rivera!
Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera made a guest appearance on Ivana Alawi’s latest vlog where they enjoyed a mukbang while answering questions fielded by Ivana’s sister, Mona.
Right at the start of the vlog, Ivana couldn’t contain her admiration for Marian. “Pinaka-maganda at pinaka-idol ko, Ms. Marian Rivera,” Ivana exclaimed.
The discussion turned to their favorite roles when Marian shared that while she cherishes all her roles, MariMar holds a special place in her heart as it marked a breakthrough and opened new doors for her.
As the conversation unfolded, Marian revealed to Ivana that she rarely agrees to interviews conducted in her family home.
“Bihirang-bihira ako tumanggap ng nag-iinterview sa akin na ginagawa dito sa bahay, isa ka dun sa nag-yes ako, oh diba,” Marian shared.
The two actresses were also asked which part of their lives they want to rewind to and the Kapuso Primetime Queen said she wants to go back to the time when her kids, Zia and Sixto, were still little.
“Hindi naman sa ayaw kong malaki na sila pero ang sarap kasi nung mga maliliit pa sila na wala silang inaasahan kundi si Mama at Dada lang, na andyan lang sila sa bahay syempre ngayon pumapasok na sa school,” she said.
Marian is currently promoting “Rewind,” an official entry to the 2023 Metro Manila Film Festival where she’s paired with husband Dingdong Dantes.
Toward the end of the vlog, there was a part when Marian called out Ivana for being late. Ivana, left speechless, teared up. However, the emotional moment took a surprising turn when Marian revealed it was a prank orchestrated by Mona, marking Marian’s first-ever prank.
Ivana cannot stop crying saying, “wala na, wala na tatalo sa prank na ‘to, ‘yung pnrank ka ng idol mo,” she said.
Marian then presented a cake to Ivana who’s celebrating her birthday soon.
