Christopher De Leon’s wife, Sandy Andolong, shared that sometimes, their marriage was tested by circumstances.

Sandy Andolong and Christopher De Leon have been together for over 40 years, but their life as a married couple has not been easy.

In a recent interview on Sandy Andolong’s Fast Talk With Boy Abunda, the actress admitted on Tuesday that she had run away from her then-husband Christopher De Leon.

“There was a time I left him. We had two boys that time si Rafael and Miguel. I left the house kasi parang ang chaotic. It was too much already. It was beginning to have a really bad effect on my two children at that time. So I left Christopher,” pag-amin ni Sandy.

Sandy Andolong added that Christopher was surprised when he returned home without her.

According to Sandy Andolong’s sharing, when she left home, she stayed for a week at the convent to pray and seek guidance and direction from the Lord.

Christopher De Leon and Sandy Andolong have been in a relationship since 1980, they got married in 2001. They renewed their vows in 2019 in Halong Bay in Vietnam.

They have five children: Rafael, Miguel, Gabriel, Mariel and Mica.
