Kim, Darren rushed to the hospital in the middle of ‘Magpasikat’ preparation

The two “It’s Showtime” hosts Kim Chiu and Darren Espanto were rushed to the hospital in the middle of their preparations for the upcoming “Magpasikat” performance.

In their respective Instagram accounts, the friends shared their photos where their respective entries can be seen after being hospitalized.

Kim shared a photo of herself taken inside an ambulance with her thighs visible.

The actress said in the caption, “Magpasikat realness (shy emoji),” the actress said in the caption.

In a separate post, Kim shared a photo of her hand showing a thumbs up despite the dextrose injection.

“All good [hand praying and red heart emojis],” said the actress.

Meanwhile, like Kim, Darren shared a picture of himself with a thumbs up and a noticeable bandage on his hand.

“I over-exaggerated my training (I over-exaggerated my training) for ‘Magpasikat’ 2024 [sweating emoji],” he said in the caption.

The word “radiology” can be seen in the background which means the young man is in a hospital or clinic.

On X (formerly Twitter), he asked his followers for prayers for the hosts of the noontime program for their upcoming “Magpasikat” performance.

“Waiting for my x-ray results! Ok naman po ako (I’m okay). Please continue to pray for all the hosts and the people behind ‘It’s Showtime’! We’re doing our best for y’all! Ilaban natin ‘to! (Let’s go on with this!)” saad ni Darren.

Kim and Darren did not share the reason why they were suddenly hospitalized.

Many netizens expressed their concern to their admired artists.

“Understandable, you want to make people happy, but when you abuse your body, mind, & heart with too much work, stress to keep up with hectic schedules, & worse, less or no sleep, your health is in danger. Health is wealth. Life is short, Kim,” saad ng isang netizen.
