Kris Aquino: ‘I’m not yet dead’

Kris Aquino clarified the status of her health in the face of false information being spread by others on social media. She also has a request for bashers.

On Monday, the Queen of all Media posted on Instagram to refute several social media posts claiming that she was hospitalized, or taken to the ICU, or dying.

“You are too advanced. I’m not yet dead. I’m going to fight to stay alive,” Kris said.

In the video post, Kris again announced her plan to seek treatment abroad.

“[I’ve] always been proud of my honesty and courage. I wish I could have flown quietly but I owe it to those who prayed for my health to improve, to THANK YOU & to tell the TRUTH,” she said in the caption.

It can be recalled that Kris has three autoimmune conditions: chronic spontaneous urticaria, autoimmune thyroiditis, and vasculitis.

According to Kris, the latter was found in the third skin biopsy by a pathologist in the Philippines and the US.

“My team of doctors here and abroad…are all worried about organ damage in my heart and in my lungs. So, all means have been tried for me to get to Houston soonest,” she said.

The medicine for the disease “doesn’t have FDA approval here or in Singapore.”

Kris also said that her doctors want to give her the medicine and “chemotherapy as my immunosuppressant” at the same time because she is allergic to steroids.

Kris asked everyone to stop posting hurtful words on her social media for the sake of her children.

“If you are going to be rude or make hurtful or bad comments, please do it on your own IG, FB, or chat groups,” she pleaded.

You don’t have to like me to be human,” Kris said. “Please don’t punish kuya [Josh] and Bimb for being my sons. It’s not bad to be brave and tell the truth that is so heavy.”
