Former reel-and-real-life sweethearts Sharon Cuneta, 52, and Gabby Concepcion, 53, hold hands when they met in Makati earlier today, February 22.

Today, February 22, Gabby hinted that he and ex-wife Sharon Cuneta have truly put the past behind them.

Gabby posted on Instagram a photo of him and Sharon holding hands and making finger hearts gesture like two old friends.

His caption read: “#goodvibes #goodvibesonly #forgiveness #goodolddays #holdinghands #wow #gabbyconcepcion”

Sharon posted the same photo on her social media accounts.

PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) found out from a source that Sharon and Gabby met in Makati earlier today.

The meeting occurred barely three weeks after Sharon and Gabby broke the internet with their viral TV commercial.

At the time, Sharon waxed nostalgic and freely gave details about her marriage and breakup with Gabby in the ’80s.

Both Gabby and Sharon said—in separate interviews published on PEP.ph in 2008—that they never had a formal closure to their split after all these years.

BACK STORY. According to legal papers that YES! Magazine obtained in its June 2008 report, Sharon and Gabby were married thrice.

They first got secretly married in civil rites on June 23, 1984.

Their second civil wedding was held on September 10, 1984.

After 13 days or on September 23, 1984, the couple had a grand wedding witnessed by family and friends at the Manila Cathedral.

Sharon and Gabby lived as husband and wife at their home in Alabang for almost three years, until they separated in 1987 due to several reasons cited by both parties.

Based on legal papers, Sharon was quoted as saying, “That the separation was caused by domestic and personal problems, non-compatibility, and because there were other women.”
