Marian Rivera, Dingdong Dantes moved to tears over fan support for ‘Rewind’

Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes could not help but cry upon seeing first-hand their fans’ support for their comeback film “Rewind.”
In an Instagram video by Star Cinema, DongYan were seen emotional during the film’s screening in SM Pampanga.
Fans filled the area outside the theater, with the escalators being the only free space. Marian and Dingdong made sure to wave to fans and talk to them.
“Rewind” is a blockbuster hit at the Metro Manila Film Festival. It is a collaboration between Star Cinema, APT Entertainment, and Agosto Dos Media. The film is directed by Mae Cruz-Alviar.
“Rewind” marks DongYan’s return to the big screen since “You to Me Are Everything,” which was released in 2010.
The film follows a couple whose marriage is on the rocks. A tragedy happens which causes the characters to live in a time-loop.
Marian is also set to make a TV comeback with the series “Against All Odds.” A new season of DongYan’s comedy sitcom “Jose & Maria’s Bonggang Villa” is coming in 2024.
