MANILA, Philippines — “It’s Showtime” host Jackie Gonzaga addressed social media rumors that Vice Ganda’s partner, Ion Perez, had impregnated her.
In a live session on her TikTok account, Jackie answered fans’ questions.
“Kuya Ion? What is the truth?! Whatever you are issuing,” Jackie said.
“Are you addicted? Stop your vice,” she added.
Jackie said the fake news generated income for trolls by increasing video views.
“And then the trolls are also doing something… for the views. Maybe they make money there, so they won’t make money there. That’s right, they grind it. That’s their issue. They will take care of that,” she said.
“Your issues are disgusting. I hate people who believe in fake news!” she added.
Jackie then thanked those people who did not believe the rumors.
“Congratulations to all those who don’t believe in fake news and you can think properly,” she said.
