What’s Marian Rivera like behind the camera, according to Aubrey Carampel

Marian Rivera is one of the most beautiful faces in Philippine showbiz. She is known for playing several iconic roles, such as Marimar, Darna, Amaya, and Dyesebel.

But ever wondered what the Kapuso Primetime Queen is like behind the camera?

In an episode of “Updated with Nelson Canlas,” showbiz reporter Aubrey Carampel shared what Yan-Yan is like when the spotlights are turned off.

“Isa si Marian Rivera sa unang nakaalam ng pangalan ko, iba ‘yong pakiramdam na pag tinatawag ka ng artista di ba sa first name mo na kilala ka niya,” she said about relationship with Marian.

Aubrey said she has always been star-struck with Marian’s beauty, from her beginnings in showbiz up to now.

Despite her stardom, however, Marian is considerate when doing interviews with the media.

“Pag dumating ka sa set na alam niyang i-interviewhin mo siya, pag nakita ka niya sasabihin niya, ‘Halika na interview-hin mo na ako para hindi ka na maghintay para makabalik ka na agad,'” Aubrey said.

“Di ba Kuya Lhar, kasi ibang artista aminin n’yo may mga ibang mga artista pinaghihintay [tayo],” she said.

Aubrey, Nelson, and Lhar Santiago also gushed about Marian and her husband Dingdong Dantes when they appeared in the GMA Thanksgiving Gala.

According to the reporters, the couple made their entrance early instead of arriving fashionably late, as expected from their status as the Kapuso Primetime King and Queen.

Despite their prodding to wait for a grand entrance, Marian and Dingdong did not mind falling in line just like everyone else.

“Sabi pa ni Dingdong, ‘Hindi okay lang you know, we were on time kaya dito na
kami sa linya,'” Nelson said.

“Si Marian, ‘Hindi, hindi, okay lang ‘yon.’ Alam mo ‘yong they’re humble that way,” he added.
