Dina wants to take care of her pregnant daughter

Veteran actress Dina Bonnevie wants Danica Sotto to stay with her while waiting for her baby. While Ms. D is all for taking care of her daughter, she hopes her son Oyo Boy doesn’t settle down yet. 

Danica Sotto’s delicate pregnancy prompted Dina Bonnevie, to invite her daughter to move in with her temporarily until she gives birth.”The first two months lang medyo hindi siya puwedeng kumilos. Talagang pinagbawalan siya ng doctor. Complete bed rest lang ang sinabi sa kanya,” confided Dina to Showbiz Central in a taped interview shown yesterday, December 23.

She however clarified that compared to the first two months, Danica now is more adjusted, but Dina still wants her daughter to be under her tight watch.

“Nagwu-worry ako, e,” she said. “I want her to have a healthy pregnancy.”

Danica, who is married to professional basketball player Marc Pingris, couldn’t get enough of her mother’s attention.

Dina recalled a was comical yet common case of pregnancy anxiety.

“Tsaka maya’t-maya naman kasi hinahanap niya ko. [Sabi ko] ‘ano ka ba, para kang bumabalik sa pagka-teenager,’” she smiled.

Asked if it’s okay with her in case her son, Oyo Boy, also decides to settle down, Dina nodded half-heartedly.

“Hindi ako nagmamadali, Oyo, ha, please lang. Nililinaw ko lang,” Dina stressed genially.

As for her personal happiness, Dina said that she’s leaving everything to God. Dina had two failed relationships in the past: the first was with ace comedian Vic Sotto and second, with an American businessman named Peczon.

“Uso pa ba ‘yon sa mga ganitong edad,” she retorted genially, when asked if wedding bells are soon to be heard again.

Dina added: “Bahala na si God. ‘Yong mga anak ko, they always tell me, ‘mommy, mommy, magpakasal ka na nga’. Ay, naku! Noon sinabi ninyo sa ‘kin, magpakasal, ayan, pumangit ang buhay ko, ‘wag na nga,” smiled Dina.
