TWBA: Kim Chiu admits feeling uncomfortable to talk about sex

There has always been a theory claiming that it is difficult to find true friends in showbiz. Whether this is true or not is an issue that no one could probably give an exact answer. But for the Chinita Princess, Kim Chiu, life has been good enough to bless her with real friends who come close to sisters. “Kakaiba,” she replied when asked to describe her friendship with Bela Padilla and Angelica Panganiban. They may not see each other each day but when they do, they bond as if they never had any time apart. “Kapag may nagte-text, ang haba na ng text ‘pag nasimulan na  tapos puro tawanan na”, Kim shared.

Boy Abunda asked the lovely guest to pick who between Bela and Angelica she’d bring in heaven and hell. “I think si Angelica sa impyerno kasi matapang siya, eh. Sobrang tapang siya tapos sasabihin niya kung ano’ng gusto niyang sabihin. Baka tanungin niya pa kung ba’t siya nasa langit,” she said. Meanwhile, Kim thinks Bela belongs in heaven because, “goddess siya, eh.”

The King of Talk recalled the first time he interviewed Kim. She was just sixteen years old then and has just gotten out of the Pinoy Big Brother house. A lot more conversations followed since then. But one topic they never get to talk about yet is sex. Awkwardness was evident in Kim’s reaction at that point. “Hindi po dapat pinag-uusapan ‘yan,” she courteously expressed while covering her face in embarrassment. That time, year 2018, Kim was tapped to become one of PBB’s hosts.

It was also the same year when Kim confirmed her relationship with love team partner Xian Lim, after years of romantic rumours about them. Tito Boy brought up the observation that Xian is one of the most misunderstood actors in the industry to which Kim agreed with. “Yes. Pero kasi kung magpapakita siya ng sweetness, doon matutunaw ka na talaga kasi iba talaga siya mag-surprise, mag-express,” she explained. She was asked if Xian is the one but at that time, the actress claimed that she’s still uncertain yet hopeful. “Wala pa sa isip ko ang kasal talaga. Hindi ko rin alam. Hindi namin pinag-uusapan din. Mayroon kaming priorities. Marami pa kaming gustong mangyari sa buhay,” she spoke. Kim chose Xian’s eyes and jawline as the sexiest parts of his body.
