Kim Chiu pens a heartfelt message for her friend on Instagram to express her happiness for the actress

Forming friendships in show business can be tough, and Kim Chiu knows this beyond doubt. But as her artistic roles explore a more mature trajectory, so does her approach to life. This includes her choices in friendship, which has become evident in her circle of friends like AngBeKi.

The trio, composed of Angelica Panganiban, Bela Padilla, and Kim herself, formed a solid bond in 2018—and the rest was history. From laugh fests to cry sessions, the three found genuine companionship with one another, and for their third friendship anniversary, Kim and Bela went to Subic to meet up with Angelica for a beach getaway, and even documented their adventures together.

Now, as they welcome another chapter in Angelica’s life, Kim can’t help but express her love for the actress. As the godmothers of Angelica’s daughter Amila Sabine, both Bela and Kim were present at Bean’s baptism. In an Instagram post, Kim wrote, “Mapapasabi ka nalang talaga na, iba magbigay ng regalo si God. Mabuti kang tao, moms and deserve mo lahat ng meron ka ngayon.”

She also included a timeline of Angelica’s motherhood journey in the circle of AngBeKi, from their last gathering before Angge gave birth all the way to the baptism of Bean.

During the said event, other friends of Angelica from the industry were also present, including actresses Glaiza De Castro, Cherry Pie Picache, and Anne Curtis, and director Andoy Ranay.

Kim has always been vocal of her appreciation for Angelica and their friendship. For the latter’s birthday in 2022, the actress greeted her friend with a message echoing her same sentiments during the baptism. “Nakakatuwa and nakakaiyak, iba talaga si Lord magbigay ng regalo. Sobrang bait mo momsy kaya deserve mo lahat ng ito,” she said.
