Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera aim to give another quality film for moviegoers

Showbiz power couple Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera talk about the possibility of doing another movie together after the blockbuster success of ‘Rewind.’

Many fans of the showbiz power couple Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera are eagerly anticipating their next movie project after the blockbuster success of  Rewind. The 2023 Metro Manila Film Festival movie surpassed over PhP1 billion in worldwide gross, making it the highest-grossing Filipino movie of all time.

GMA Integrated News showbiz reporter Nelson Canlas asked DongYan in an event this Thursday morning, April 11, if there is a follow up movie already. To which Dingdong replied, “Well, sa ngayon wala pa. Pero ‘pag meron malalaman n’yo.”

Marian added that they want to give another quality movie that will leave a big impact on the moviegoers.

“Siguro palagi ‘yan tinatanong sa amin. Siguro, ang magandang isagot diyan ‘yung naglo-look forward kami na makagawa uli ng pelikula na magkakaroon ng malaking impact uli sa kanila.” The Kapuso Primetime Queen stressed.

She continued, “Kasi, ‘yun naman yung goal naming dalawa ni Dong, ‘yung paggawa ng pelikula. Kumbaga, kung ano man ‘yung mangyari diyan. Bonus na sa amin yun. Pero, ‘yung message ng pelikula yun ‘yung gusto namin ihatid sa mga manonood.”

New endorsement

Meanwhile, Dingdong and Marian were introduced as the newest endorsers of DITO Telecommunity during an event held at the One Bonifacio Highstreet Mall in Taguig City.

Here, the Kapuso Primetime couple talked about the importance of connectivity and technology in their lives, especially with their two kids, Zia and Sixto.

Marian shared that using the internet is essential in terms of their children’s education.

“Yung internet more on ginagamit namin sa education na nila. Like si Zia minsan may mga assignment siya online na kailangan namin gawin. At the same time, ‘pag wala kami sa bahay, chinicheck namin ‘yung dalawa thru internet siyempre.”

While they allow their kids to use the gadgets, the Dantes couple makes sure to manage their screen time and teach them to become responsible in using smartphones.

According to the Kapuso Primetime King, as much as possible they don’t use their smartphones when they eat together.

“Nagsisimula yan, siyempre, sa modeling sa aming mga magulang. So, kailangan nakikita rin nila ‘pag magkakasama kami. Halimbawa, sa mesa, walang may hawak ng telepono para sila rin hindi sila matempt ‘di ba na gumamit.

“Siyempre, lahat naman binibigyan namin ng oras like for example kami, essential na talaga ang connectivity pagdating sa trabaho.”

Dingdong added, “Tsaka for bonding,. Malaking bagay sa family namin, mahilig kami manood ng movies together. So, kapag ginagawa mo these things together like for example watching together, mas malilimit talaga ‘yung oras nila sa mga ganitong device. Although wala naman silang device, bukod sa ginagamit nila sa school, e, ‘pag nakikita na sama-sama namin ginagawa yan hindi na sila magso-solo kumbaga.”
