What happened between Kristine Hermosa and Michael Bublé years ago?

The Voice USA Season 26 winner Sofronio Vasquez revealed that his coach Canadian singer-songwriter Michael Bublé dated a “dyosa” in the Philippines and netizens guessed that it was actress Kristine Hermosa.

Kristine is one of the most beautiful female celebrities in the Philippine entertainment industry. Aside from her acting prowess, she is admired for her beautiful face and her charm as a woman.

After Sofronio’s win, he was interviewed by different media entities. One of the shows that the Pinoy singer graced was It’s Showtime, in which he became a finalist in the singing competition segment Tawag ng Tanghalan.

Sofronio Vasquez shared that the producer told him to represent the Philippines, based on the article in PEP. He initially thought of representing Utaca, New York where he has been staying since last year.

The Pinoy singer also said that it was a good decision that he chose Michael Bublé as his coach because the Canadian singer-songwriter loved the Philippines so much. Michael shared with him that aside from being the “kumpare” of Concert King Martin Nievera, he also dated a famous celebrity back then.

“Shinare po niya na mayroon po siyang deep connection sa Pilipinas kasi kumpare niya raw po si Martin Nievera, at mayroon daw po siyang naka-date na kilala nating lahat na dyosa sa atin,” Sofronio shared.

With what Sofronio shared, netizens on Reddit mentioned that the “dyosa” he was referring to was Kristine Hermosa. “Sofronio Vasquez blind item [laughing emojis] So true pla na dinate ni Michael Bublé si Kristine Hermosa? Sya lang naman ang isa sa mga Dyosa dati,” a post on Reddit stated.

Back in 2005, Philstar asked Michael about the real score between him and Kristine. He said that they were just friends and he was a fan of the actress.

Michael Bublé has been married to his wife Argentinian actress Luisana Lopilato and they are blessed with four children while Kristine Hermosa is the wife of Oyo Boy Sotto and they now have six kids.
