Julia Montes’ First-day Training For FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano Goes Viral

JULIA MONTES – ABS-CBN actress Julia Montes was called ‘Black Widow‘ of the Philippines by some netizens after her training video for “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” went viral.

Kapamilya actress Julia Montes took a year-long break in show business in 2019 to spend quality time with her dad in Germany. Her last project was the tv show “Asintado” with Paulo Avelino, Aljur Abrenica, and Shaina Magdayao.

Last month, Dreamscape Entertainment announced that Montes is finally making her long-delayed comeback through “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” top-billed by her rumored boyfriend Coco Martin. She will be joined by stars such as Joseph Marco, Chai Fonacier, Vangie Labalan, Elora Españo, Marela Torre, Michael Flores, Rosanna Roces, and Tommy Abuel.

In a previous article, Julia Montes openly admitted that she feels pressured to have Coco Martin as her director. They have already worked together in the past, in the movie ‘A Moment in Time’ and in the tv series ‘Walang Hanggan.’

On the other hand, her rumored boyfriend also admitted that he feels tensed finding out that Montes will be his newest leading lady in FPJAP. He said, “Ako yung kagabi hindi nakatulog. Kahapon, nagbe-brainstorming kami dito, ako yung tensionado. Kasi syempre parang, kasi makakasama ko siya eh.”

“Alam mo yung parang hindi ako pwedeng magkamali this time. Parang ganun. Dito pa ba ko sasablay?” he added.

Julia Montes has been undergoing intense training for her role on FPJAP. On Monday, August 8, ABS-CBN uploaded the video containing her 1st-day training for the hit program.

In the video, the prominent actress could be seen handling a prop gun. She looked fierce and tough as ever. Fans left in awe after seeing her hand-to-hand combat with stunt actors.

At the end of the video, ABS-CBN thanks stunt director Erwin Tagle and the tag team for the stunts. Montes’ training video has been viewed 1.6 million times.
