Sandy Andolong on her relationship with Nora Aunor, her stepchildren

 

Sandy Andolong said she has a civil relationship with Nora Aunor, the ex-wife of her husband Christopher de Leon.

On Tuesday’s episode of “Fast Talk With Boy Abunda,” Sandy said she and Nora have not seen each other in a long time, but they are OK whenever they meet.

The King of Talk then asked if they ever share conversations.

“Not really. It’s more of, ‘Hi. Hello,’ ganun. Konti lang,” she said.

As for Nora’s children with Christopher, Sandy said she already loves them.

The veteran actress then recalled an exchange between her and Lotlot de Leon, one of Christopher and Nora’s adopted children.

“Alam ko naman and I understand how you feel but I need you to know your mother is your mother and I can never replace her but I can good friend to you,” she told Lotlot.

Christopher and Nora got married in 1975 and got an annulment in 1996. Christopher married Sandy in 2001.

Kapuso actress Sanya Lopez reveals that she now has more bashers because of her onscreen partnership with Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards.

 

Sanya and Alden are among the cast members of the Kapuso primetime series Pulang Araw. In the series, they played the characters of Teresita Borromeo and Eduardo Dela Cruz.

They are lovers in the series but their love story is challenged by their situation as Sanya’s character was forced to be a comfort woman.

However, in a recent interview, based on the article in PEP, Sanya Lopez stressed that their series does not feature romance and a love story. She said that this was created for the unsung heroes during the Japanese occupation.

It has been Sanya’s dream to share the same frame with Alden. She has expressed this in past interviews and because of this, she received negative reactions.

When asked if the bashing has lessened now, the actress said that she received more because that statement became a reality. However, Sanya said that she understands the negative comments from fans.

“Parang dumami sila. Pero ako naman, naiintindihan ko. Kasi, naging fan din ako. Siguro kung ako rin na nandoon sa situwasyon na may sinusuportahan, na sa tingin ko yun ang tama, siguro yun din ang gagawin ko,” Sanya Lopez said.

She added that idolizing someone, sometimes people would feel that there is nothing wrong with what they are doing.

Then, Sanya was asked if there is something happening behind the camera with Alden, which might be the reason for the bashing that she received, and she said, “Wala.” The actress also mentioned her NBSB status, or no boyfriend since birth. She knows that some people won’t believe this but this is the reality. The actress also pointed out that it does not mean that she is not entertaining suitors.
